
Yariv Ronen specialises in complex, large-scale civil and administrative litigation, as well as in defamation claims. He has more than two decades of experience in conducting complex legal proceedings, together with broad and exceptional legal knowledge of public and civil law.
He joined the firm in 2000, immediately after completing his legal traineeship, and has been a partner since 2014.
Alongside his work at the firm, he has significant experience in disciplinary law and military law. Since 2018 he has served as a member of the Tel Aviv District Disciplinary Tribunal of the Israel Bar Association, and in the current term he serves as its presiding chair.
Between 2002 and 2015 he served in the reserves as a military defence counsel with the IDF Military Defense. In that capacity he represented soldiers in appeals before the Military Court of Appeals, and acted as defence counsel in a manslaughter case before the Southern District Military Court and the Military Court of Appeals.
Yariv Ronen holds an LL.B. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (1999) and an LL.M. in public law from Tel Aviv University (2006).
In 2006 he was awarded the Zvi Zilbiger Prize for research in the field of local government and administrative law, for his work on the application of statutory tender obligations to municipal corporations.
He is the co-author, together with Ilan Bombach, of the article "Lay Judges in the Shadow of the Presiding Judge's Influence", published in Law and Army, issue 16, pp. 109-147 (2002).
